Hi,
I need to know how the work culture and learning environment are at ICICI Bank for HR students starting their careers there. We have ICICI coming to our campus with a CTC of 6.01 lacs and a designation of Assistant Manager Band 2. Additionally, we have other IT companies offering a CTC in the range of 4.5 to 5.00 for HR roles also coming.
I am really confused about whether to opt for ICICI or not since I have heard they make you work very hard. How true is this? I am really confused. Please guide me.
I am an engineer from a reputed college with 1.5 years of work experience in a top IT company, and I am currently pursuing my HR studies at a good college in Mumbai.

Hi,
It's an amazing place for HR professionals. You will get an opportunity to learn everything about HR, whether it's the performance management system, e-learning, or anything else that other organizations are struggling to implement.
Wishing you luck.

Hi, my friend is working with ICICI Bank in Mumbai. She did her MBA in HR and landed a campus job at ICICI. The only issue she is facing is finding the right job profile. Initially, she was in Operations, then moved to the HR department, and now she is in Learning and Development.
Before joining, I suggest clarifying your Key Result Areas (KRAs) with the reporting manager. Otherwise, you may end up switching departments frequently.

I personally experienced that working with ICICI is something you gain by getting your professional degree from a reputed organization. Here, gaining experience in any field is invaluable. You cannot underestimate the value of the degree you hold, whether it is in Sales/Marketing, Collections/Recoveries, or in the HR Department.
It is indeed a University. Assume that you are a small fish in a big pond. There are numerous fishes like you, some big and some small. In fact, big fishes became big when they gained experience, and the small fishes have the potential to become big fish one day. Your performance is the sole measure of your growth. It is up to you to decide whether you want to be a big fish or remain a small fish in that vast pond.
