If you are working in office then you fall under state Shops Act. in such case refer to leave provisions under the said act. If you work in factory, you will be entitled to 1 day leave for 20 days worked. This termed as 'annual leave with wages'.

Various nomenclatures are used depending on the organisational policy. Some may call it EL, some PL, some Annual Leave with wages or some other name. CL is different as it for certain sudden contingency .While CL is for meeting sudden contingency, Medical Leave/Sick Leave is for medical needs. There cannot be a general term covering all of them.
