I have been working with an FMCG firm for the last year. For the initial 3 months, he paid on time, but after that, he did not pay until March. In April, he paid only 7500. I keep asking him to clear my salaries, but he keeps excusing me by saying, "I will pay next month or the month after." Till date, he has not paid my remaining salary, and I have lodged a complaint with the local authorities.

Please advise on what steps I should take next.

Hi Mr. Yaseen,

I understand your concern regarding your salary. You can ask your employer to provide in writing the reason for the non-payment of salary. Submit a letter expressing your concerns to your employer and ensure to receive an acknowledgment copy. If he doesn't respond, you can appeal to your respective Labour Office.

When i asked him when you clear my salary he replied me please see the below,
provide the sales data been performed by you over a period been indicated below. As per our business data there are no sales in domestic/export registered under your name.

Dear Friend,

It seems you are working for an unprofessional company/employer. I doubt whether the company has given you an Appointment letter and a salary slip too. If you have been provided with it, you can escalate the matter to the magistrate court by filing a legal suit. (I would have suggested lodging a grievance with the HR department in your company, but needless to say, they seem inactive).

Dear expert, He is working in some Pvt ltd company too. Yes I have offer letter through email, but there is no clause in offer letter regarding any target. HR also left that company.
