If ABC pvt ltd company employee resign and join to ABC Incorporation. Is employer need to link the employee UAN account in UAN employer portal - In case of PF authorised person is same for both the companies.

Once an employee resigns, and if he joined in the same company on next day itself, even that employee will be considered as a new employee. you have to provide with new pf no. But you will be required to update his UAN no with new epf no.

Dear Mr. Stephen, Thanks for your reply. Thing is ABC Pvt Ltd and ABC Incorporation are owned by same employer and same person is authorized for all PF related things.

Here, the question is whether you have the same code No or two different code Numbers with EPFO. If you have the same code, then you need not do anything for UAN. But if he is covered under a new Code Number, then you should treat him as a new employee and his previous UAN is to be given while linking in the new code number. Hope this clarifies your stand
