Hi,

There seems to be confusion because the poster states that you are required to email your resume with the HOD's signature. The general impression is that this poster is intended for external candidates. However, I am uploading a revised poster to see if it helps.

Hi Anand,

Thanks. I shall definitely work on the content part. But I would require your feedback on the layout. Should there be any background color? We are an engineering concern doing projects for US clients. Can I have some background pictures?

Kindly help me out.

Thanks,
Sowmya

Hi!!

The confusion still remains: who is your target audience? If it is internal, then give details of your client, the work content, location, duration of assignment, etc. Include pictures of the client site, local snaps (if the work location) to motivate the interested employees.

If it is for your own company, then do the same with details of your own company. The simple rule of the game is: the poster should be eye-catching. The punch line should be in bright red or blue. If possible, the background color should be the corporate color (the color of your logo).

See if this input helps. Do mail me a copy of your final poster at .

Anand

Hi Anand,

Thank you for your feedback. The target audience is freshers from colleges. This poster aims to attract recent diploma candidates from colleges and will be displayed on the respective college notice boards.

I hope this clarifies any confusion.

Hi Sowmya,

Since you are working on a poster, make sure you use the appropriate background and color of the font to make it more attractive and readable. I tried attaching an advertisement we used, but I am unable to attach it in CiteHR due to some browser problem. Please provide me with your email address, and I will forward it to you.

Hi Soumya,

Your ad looks good. But I do have a doubt whether the poster has to be colorful to get the candidates' attention or the details in the ad. You can add:
- Designation
- Job profile
- Job specification
- Location
- Salary

Details of the company have to be included in the first paragraph, and contact details at the end. If you are working in any branded companies, you don't have to worry a lot, as candidates will be aware of the brand.

Hope this might help you.

Hi Sowmya,

Please find the attached poster that I have created for one of our requirements. This has been exclusively designed for students for campus placements. Let's see if this can help you. :)

Dear All, Please suggest any changes to make it more effective [though we have already posted this poster earlier, but I can come up with a more creative poster than this]. Please let me know your thoughts.

Hello Sowmya,

I have seen your poster, and it's perfect to display on the notice board. Don't waste your time trying to make it more and more attractive. This task should not consume as much time as it has already consumed.

The freshers are at a stage where they are always alert to grasp any opportunity. Your message should be very clear, and it is evident in the poster. What's annoying is that such a small thing has taken up so much of your time, and the discussion seems to be never-ending.

The candidates who deserve these positions will be attracted by your current poster. Even if you keep it in black and white, just be careful in selecting the fonts, type of fonts, and size of fonts according to the importance of the lines.

Your poster is perfect as it is, so go ahead with it.
