My name is Kedar Prasad, and I have been working in a corporate company for the past 12 months. Today, I checked my EPF balance on the EPFO website. I received an SMS on my mobile showing that my EPF balance consists of an EE Amount of Rs.1566/- and an ER Amount of Rs.480/-. I am confused as to why it is displaying this way. Given that I have been working in this firm since January 2013, I believe my EPF balance amount should be higher. Is there a time-consuming process involved in updating the amount in my EPF account?
Please assist me with this matter.

Please tell me how to apply for the PF as I left my job on 30 March 2013 due to my marriage. I was working in Gurgaon and shifted to Mumbai after getting married. I do not want to work further. How can I withdraw my amount from Mumbai as I have not served the notice period?

Hi,
To claim the PF amount, you need to fill up Form-10C and Form-19 and submit them to your company's HR. After successful verification from the PF department, you will receive the PF amount directly to your mentioned bank account or address.
