I am a fresher in HR. Boss's expectations are very high. Also, I am very new to the organization. What should I do? How can I make my boss proud of me? What kind of initiatives can I take for company progress? It's a kind of construction company. We deal with ONGC, Gas, etc.

NUPOO, That’s mean your boss is difficult one. He loves bullying with new comer. Be patient and wait for YOUR TIME. One day either you or your boss will find another job :)

Hi,
I believe this is the high time to show what you can do by using your skills and ability. Though you are a fresher as you said above, but still are selected and provided a chance to work with your employer and your Boss expecting you to perform, I would say you must search options that can help you in performing or using your skills instead of taking much stress with these things.
Also, the people who have selected you are very well aware of your qualifications, skills, and that you don't have experience (fresher) but still they trust you and are expecting you to perform, which means you have a good opportunity to learn and apply your knowledge.
Solution:
- The very first thing that you have to do is to make a note of all whatever your Boss is asking you to do.
- Discuss the same with your colleagues and friends who are in the same work profile (inside and outside of the office).
- Read the documents, threads, and available material related to the assigned task in this place.
Lastly, I request you to share what is actually bothering you here as you haven't shared such details except your Boss's high expectations because until you share your problems, the community won't be able to help you with your problem properly.

In this materialistic world, one's expectations will always be high, and one should endeavor to fulfill at least a part. Nobody can fulfill one's expectations, including spouses. Try your best, and then leave the rest to destiny.

Hello Nupoo,
I completely agree with Pon1965. I believe you put all your efforts in ethical ways. Still, if he wants to just find your mistake rather than appreciating you, then it is very clear that he is a man who thinks he is a perfectionist.
Don't worry; one day he will have to praise all your efforts.
