I am working in an Insurance Distribution House as Manager - Operations & HR. We are a company under the Companies Act of 1956. Our employee strength is 20. In our leave policy, we have included 30 days of PL & 10 days of SL, excluding Public Holidays & holidays declared under the NI Act. Please let me know whether it is okay or not.

Dear Gargi,
As per the statutory obligations, the leave entitlement is as follows:
- 15 Privilege Leaves
- 07 Sick Leaves
- 8 Casual Leaves
In our company, at the end of the year, any unavailed Privilege Leaves will be encashed. However, in some companies, these leaves are transferred to the following year.
