Dear Mr. Amit,

For minimum wages in your state, you may visit our Ministry of Labour and Employment website: [Home - Wage Cell - Minimum Wages: Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India](http://labour.nic.in) (Search on Cite | Search on Google).

Alternatively, you can download the circular/GR from your state government website.

Dear Sir,

SALARY CALCULATION WITH SUNDAY OFF AND LEAVES

WITH REFERENCE TO THE ABOVE SUBJECT IN OUR ORGANISATION, SALARY CALCULATION IS DIVIDED BY 26 LIKE 15000/- PM SALARY. HOWEVER, THE CALCULATION IS DONE BASED ON 26 DAYS, LIKE 15000/26 = 576.92 PER DAY. AS A RESULT, THE SALARY FALLS SHORT WHEN I AM ON LEAVE FOR 2 DAYS, LEADING TO A CALCULATED SALARY OF 576.92 * 24 DAYS = 13846.

MY DAILY SALARY RATE IS 500/-. HENCE, WHEN CALCULATING SALARY FOR THE MONTH, IT SHOULD BE 15000/30 = 500. TO ACCOUNT FOR SUNDAYS AS OFF DAYS INCLUDED IN MY SALARY, THE CALCULATION SHOULD BE 500 * 28 DAYS = 14000.

I WOULD APPRECIATE IT IF YOU COULD PROVIDE CLARIFICATION ON THIS MATTER SO THAT I CAN ADDRESS THIS ISSUE.

REGARDS,
AMIT TIWARI
