I have been experiencing a very frustrating situation in job searching and clearing through my resume to the prospective employer. I have seen many companies go for candidates whose resumes are false or full of lies about their experiences and skills. They also exaggerate their salary in the resume or during the interview. Such candidates get the job, but candidates like me, who have never used wrong means to get the attention of the employer, are not able to find the perfect job matching my skills or experiences. Even after the selection, they manage to survive in their roles. Do companies conduct any cross-checking while screening resumes? Should I also try to use lies in my resume to grab the attention of consultants or employers? Please help me because the situation is becoming very frustrating for me.
