Hi to all,

I always feel that the organization is full of loopholes when it comes to working. From the Board of Directors to the last person, including myself, there seems to be a lack of streamlined thinking, working methods, and approaches to handling situations. There are always differences of opinion, variations in working styles, and constant conflicts that need resolution. This leaves little time for real research and development, new ideas, and exploring new possibilities for development, among other things.

How can we create a framework to achieve better results?

Hi Bankim,

I can understand your concern, anxiety, and frustration, which you have expressed very passionately despite your limitations in communicating fluently in English.

At the outset, let me point out that if the BOD itself is clueless about their goals and objectives, then nothing you attempt can make a major positive difference. However, you must still try to share some ideas with them about your concerns and your suggestions to address the issues.

Perhaps the first thing you must do is work on having a VISION and MISSION statement for your organization. I am sure you will get a lot of inputs on that on this site. These two statements will form the backbone of what the business aims to achieve and would help you map out the finer details of values, operations, structure, etc.

Next, work on having JD and KRA for each and every employee. This will ensure clarity in job function, responsibilities, and assist in aligning personal goals with organizational goals. Map out an organizational chart, HR policies, and work on team building.

I hope my suggestions meet your immediate requirements.

Best Wishes
