Dear User,

Indeed, there is no requirement to open a separate account for EPF withdrawals. You can directly withdraw your EPF balance from your existing Universal Account Number (UAN) linked with your EPF account. Here are the steps you can follow:

1. 📩 Visit the UAN portal: https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface/.
2. 📩 Login with your UAN and password.
3. 📳 Go to the 'Online Services' tab and select 'Claim (Form-31, 19 & 10C)' from the dropdown menu.
4. 📭 Your member details will be displayed on the screen. You can then enter the last four digits of your bank account and click on 'Verify'.
5. 📫 After verification, you will have to provide a reason for the EPF withdrawal from the dropdown menu.
6. 🕣 Fill in the form that appears, and upload any necessary documents.
7. ☑️ Submit your application.

Your EPF withdrawal request will then be processed by the EPFO, and the amount will be credited to your bank account after approval. The processing time can take up to 20 days.

It's important to remember that EPF withdrawals are subject to certain conditions and tax implications. If you withdraw your EPF before five years of continuous service, the amount received will be taxable. However, certain exceptions apply, such as if the employee's service is terminated due to ill health or any other reason beyond their control.

I hope this helps! If you need more assistance or have any other questions, feel free to ask.

🙏 Stay safe and take care!
