Dear UM Raju,
I am writing to request a bank certificate from you instead of the challan for the deposit of the ESI (Employee State Insurance) challan. The details of the deposit are as follows:
- Cheque Number: [Insert Cheque Number]
- Cheque Amount: [Insert Cheque Amount]
- Deposit Date: [Insert Deposit Date]
Additionally, I kindly ask for a bank statement showing the ESI release amount. This statement will serve as proof of the deposit made.
Your prompt attention to this request is greatly appreciated. Please provide the bank certificate on your letterhead at your earliest convenience.
Thank you for your assistance.
Sincerely,

Dear Mr. Himanshu,
If you know the Challan No., then okay; otherwise, log on to esic.in. Click "modify challan," then in the drop-down menu, select the challan created month and year. There you will find the challan number; note it down. Then, on the esic.in login page, on the right side down, you will find "online challan double verification" link; click it. In a new window, it will ask for the challan number. Type the challan number you wrote earlier and click submit. It will show the transaction details. If you find the transaction status as "Transaction Completed Successfully," then print it. It is the proof that you have remitted the ESI and will act as a paid challan as well.
Thank you.

Ms. Kamini Rai,
Go to ESIC: Portal Application and click the link "User Manual for Pay e-challan" under ESIC links for detailed help. Or you can click "Pay e-challan" link, enter the employer code and captcha, and click search; then follow the instructions.
In both the above cases, net banking is a must for ESI approved 58 banks, the list of which you will find on the esic.in page. Hope this will help you.
