Dear All Seniors,

I request you to please provide information on how we can take a loan against PF (the procedure & norms). Also, I would like to request guidance on withdrawing PF from the current PF account while still employed. Can the withdrawal be made, and if so, what would be the procedure?

You can't take a loan against P.F. amount while in a job. You can't withdraw P.F. amount while in a job; however, you can take a non-refundable advance from P.F. after completion of 5 years for home purposes. After 7 years, you can take an advance for other purposes such as self-marriage, daughter's/sister's/brother's marriage, LIC premium, payment of hospitalization expenses, and advance studies for your son/daughter, etc.
