I WANT TO KNOW WHAT IS THE LEAVE PROCEDURE IN LABOUR ACT CAN ANYBODY HELP ME?

You may go through the the Factories Act 1948 regarding the Leave rules of the workman. Although most of the companies frame there own leave rules which should not be less favorable than the rules of the factories act by virtue of settlement or by the own decison of the management. Leave rule may be different for executive and workman, it depends on the management policy. R.K.PANDA

Can anybody clarify my doubt, whether an employer have rights to ask question to his employee regarding the proper reason for his leave?

Since leave is not a right of employee, the employer can question the reason stated by an employee of his taking leave. Please in conjunction with the following. <link no longer exists - removed> Regards, Madhu.T.K
