Case Study

A case study is a method for testing any candidate for any designation. By adopting a case study, various capabilities of a candidate can be found out. At the time of the interview of any candidate, an HR person can use this technique to judge the inner qualities of the candidate.

In a case study, the HR person should present a case, incident, or story before the candidate and ask about the various aspects of it, seeking a final solution and learning from the case. The candidate would study or go through the case and respond or react according to the questions posed to him.

Through the interaction with the candidate, his capabilities come to light before the HR people or interviewer.

The e-books are concise and drive the points. However, if you have the opportunity of finding a book 'How to have Power and Confidence in Dealing with People' by Les Giblin, I am sure it would change the way we interact with people always on an equal platform (which creates a Win-Win situation) as the book did for me 10 years ago. At that time, I had to get this book imported through Landmark. It may be available in India now.
