I am facing a very weird problem in the office. My company is in a business where we send bulk couriers, sometimes around 100-500. However, my office boys do not want to maintain manual records of the same. I am insisting on this as it will be necessary for checking the courier bills and the status of couriers delivered/undelivered.
I have started maintaining an Excel file and typing all the details manually myself, but I can't do this every day as it is very time-consuming and delaying other work that I am supposed to do. It is not feasible for one person to sit and type these details in Excel. Can someone please help me in this regard? My office boys are extremely arrogant, and I request you to provide some solution to this problem.

You need to enter into a contract with a courier firm to start. The courier company will assign staff to your office to receive all incoming couriers and distribute them among various departments in your organization. They will also take care of outbound bookings from your office. The courier staff will be paid by the courier company. You need to support them by providing desk space, and if possible, a computer with an internet connection. They will also act as customer support.

I am Arun, and I work for a courier company. It is possible that your company has entered into an agreement with a courier company to collect the couriers, right? Normally, the courier company will provide all the details of the couriers booked for the entire month, or there will be a tracking ID that gives a full report.

Thanks for your suggestions. I have checked with my current courier service provider, but they are only willing to provide mailroom service if we give them a significant volume of business. Please let me know what the standard procedure is in large companies. Manually entering courier details is an outdated method.
