cut the cake vertically as cross line(2 cuts)...which gets u 4 pieces and then cut it horizontally along its width...which would give 8 pieces totally in 3 cuts..a s simple as that Rathish

Hi Kiran,
A funny question indeed.
The answer is:
Step 1: Cut it horizontally at the diameter's length.
Step 2: Vertical cut (again at the diameter's length).
By now, you have 4 equal pieces.
Step 3: In an upside-down direction (from the middle) of the cake, cut it into two pieces. You now have 8 equal pieces.
By the way, what was the position you have applied for?
