Dear all,
As I have joined a new company and am the first HR personnel in this organization, I have been tasked with providing company identity cards for every employee. To facilitate this, I require the formatting for visitor ID cards within the company, as well as the format for company ID cards for workers and staff.
Please assist me in this matter.
Thank you,
Aarti

Hi Aarti,
The identity card has a simple format - on the top of the card, have your company logo, under the logo the photo of the employee, and below that:
Name of the employee:
Employee code No:
Department:
Designation:
Blood Group:
Sd.x.x.x.
Issuing authority.
Regarding the Department and Designation, some companies do not include them on their ID cards due to a structured job rotation process. Hence, it can be challenging to issue a new ID card when there is a change in designation or department.
On the back side of the card, include the address of the company (if you have a corporate or registered office, then both) - with a note stating, "If found, return it to."
For the Visitor card:
- The Logo
- Sl. No.
- Followed by VISITOR
- Sd: x x x x x
- Issuing authority.
On the back side, you can include the same details mentioned above.
Thanks and regards,
Kamesh
