Hi,

I have to conduct some small training sessions with my team leaders and QA's related to teamwork and motivation so that they can implement the same within their teams. This training would have nothing related to their job profile, but it is just an effort to develop some sense of responsibility towards their job.

If anyone can help me with some kind of presentations or material in this case, it would be of great help.

Dear Lakshmi,

Before you go ahead with the training program, be clear on its end result. Any program done without defining the outcome will have a poor ROI.

Your goal statement for the training program, "just an effort to develop some sense of responsibility towards their job," is quite vague. You need to be more specific about what you aim to increase and decrease. When training programs with vague goal statements are conducted, they yield poor ROI. In turn, this affects employers' faith in the training itself. I hope you take precautions to avoid this situation.

Thanks,

Thank you, Dinesh,

I have to conduct some sessions for around 1 hour. Currently, there are no issues related to productivity, quality, attrition, etc. During this session, we will be playing some team games as well. That is why I wanted to put some efforts towards this.

Dear Priya,

Dinesh has made a valid point, and you have not addressed it. You still say that you need to conduct "some sessions for around 1 hour". And that there are no issues to be addressed. Then, what is the purpose? Have a nice day.

Even I understand this, but I am forced to do so. Initially, I had planned for some fun activities for their engagement, which would work as a refreshment session that employees would enjoy. However, if our branch managers have decided, then we cannot go against them. That's why I thought of such an idea.
