Hi to everybody,
Currently, I am working as a software trainee in a small IT company. Upon joining, they asked me to sign a service bond of three years. Before signing the bond, they informed me that they would provide a stipend of 2500rs during the six-month training period, after which the salary would be 10500rs. They also promised to train me in the Java platform and assign me to Java projects.
After joining the company, we discovered that our seniors were receiving a salary of only 7500rs. When we inquired about this discrepancy, they explained that the remaining amount is a variable pay that would not be disbursed. After two months, they enrolled me in PHP training instead of Java training. When I questioned them about the change, they simply stated that they did not have any Java projects available and hence could not assign me to Java. I then asked why they had selected me during the interview by mentioning Java projects, to which they replied that they had anticipated Java projects but had not secured them yet.
I find myself in a difficult situation now. I wish to leave this company for the betterment of my career, but they are not willing to release me. The bond specifies that if we break the agreement, we must pay a sum of 2 lakh rupees.
What solutions are available to me? What steps can I take? I have only completed four months of training, and the experience has been unpleasant. What should I do?
I would appreciate any suggestions you can provide.

You can leave this job; no employer can force any employee to remain in his employment against their wishes.
As far as concerns about such agreements, the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in numerous cases has held that contracts/agreements of this kind, which restrain an employee from joining another employer, are considered void ab initio. Even the Constitution of India provides that a person has the right and liberty to choose their employment.
Regarding the realization of money, the employer can only recover the amount spent on the training, etc., of the employee, but not the bond amount.
