Hi!

This is a brilliant story. Although I had heard about this a long time ago, I couldn't recall the complete story. I am a corporate trainer, so I guess this would prove to be an effective anecdote for team-building trainings. I am sure that next time, I will certainly use this anecdote.

Dear Himani Sharma, your post is superb. As Swati aptly mentioned, it can be used in HR training to give strong messages such as 'working to one's competencies' and 'competing against the situation rather than a rival'. The story has brought out other management lessons as well. Thanks for sharing.

Dear Himani,

Thank you for presenting such a beautiful and intelligent thought with all of us. I believe everyone has a different outlook, but the moral of every story is success and achieving the same with your team, with a mixture of competencies, can give you a satisfied success and, of course, a reason to celebrate together :-)

Kind regards, [Your Name]
