Hi Vishal,

Thanks for appreciating. But the database is spread all across the net. All we need is the right attitude and some tools to get it out from there. The best tool that I have seen till date is, yes, you guessed it correctly, "Google." Lord bless the man who started Google, and God bless CHR.

Bhaiya Ajmal, Kya Apne Google se training liya hai! :)

Good at searching, but I think in 2005 prices have increased more than 5 times. If this price hike continues for a long period, then the world will start heading towards a recession.

Hi Ajmal, What were the key words you used in searching this list because even I tried in Google and only when I didn’t get it I send you this msg. Regards J A Xavier

Hi Manu,

Don't worry, we are not going to go into a recession. I have actually filled petrol for as little as 9.15 Rs in my first bike in the year 1990, and now I am paying close to 5 times the same amount. However, the economy is still growing. By the way, I will not invest in another vehicle running on fossil fuel. I think with the current price trend, the cost will increase beyond the reach of an ordinary person like me.

Hey, I need to send an email to the Ahmedabad Mayor to do something about "The Ahmedabad Metro"; that would be the best alternative. What do you think?

Hi Manu and Umalme,

"By the way, I will not invest in another vehicle running on fossil fuel..."

I meant that I would rather move by public transport or buy a car 'Reva' once they upgrade it to a bigger size with better range - at least 200km on a single charge. Still thinking of fuel... You may be happy paying Rs. 21 as tax to the government, who would then make sure that the money goes into the Swiss accounts of their ministers. I am not...

There was an underlying message in my post that opposes the government in the petrol price hike. Devote 5 minutes to send an email to the government, local newspaper, TOI, Indian Express, or whomever, to let the government know that increasing fuel prices leads to an increase in the overall cost of living.

So, I request both of you to send an email to the newspaper you read regarding the price hike in fuel prices.

So, Ajmal Mirza Ji, I am checking this after a very long time. I said this in 2005, that we are heading toward a recession. I think we are currently in the recovery phase of the same. However, petrol prices are still increasing. Maybe some scientists can find an alternative, more mass-helpful solution very soon.
