Kindly anybody can provide me with the parameters or Outcomes or Results of Below mention Job Profile of my Company`s GM -Marketing`s Profile, so that the performance can be evaluated.

· Responsible for the complete marketing operations of the organization which includes:
o Develop, plan and implement the Marketing Strategies (urban & rural).
o Advertising & Promotional activities.
o Research & Development.
§ Customized research as per the requirements of the company either undertaken internally or outsourced.
§ Syndicated research. Responsible for the analysis, presentation and dissemination of the data within the organization.
o Identifying, developing and launching of new products/brands.
o Direct Marketing including Customer Relationship Management (CRM).
o Keeping abreast of the market scenario and developments
· Mentoring and development of the marketing department’s personnel.
· Responsible for the development of the corporate communications material.
· Provide marketing inputs for special project proposals & responsible for the implementation of the same.
Provide inputs for the corporate strategies, proposals that will unable in better management and development of the organization.

U mean KRIs? For the first point: Develop marketing operations:

Marketing strategies: Parameters - Number of urban/rural areas visited on ad campaign, or number of projects implemented in specific geographic areas. OR - response from rural/urban areas on marketing activities initiated.

Advertising and promotional activities - number of projects initiated within the specific budget.

Research & Development - participation in a survey; Or creation of a survey tool to receive information about product performance... (Before I could say anything more - is this what you are looking at???) If NO: please be more elaborate. IF YES: take it one by one and ask opinions (e.g., get suggestions on the first responsibility, then go to the next...) :-D

Hi Asha, thank you for your reply. However, what I am looking for is different. This is a job profile of an employee, and I have to evaluate it while considering the organizational perspective. In other words, how these activities will benefit the organization - the outcome of the profile.

§Syndicated research. Responsible for the analysis, presentation and dissemination of the data within the organization. – Availability/ accessibility of information internally
oIdentifying, developing and launching of new products/brands. – Improved product band width
oDirect Marketing including Customer Relationship Management (CRM). – Satisfied and loyal customer, leading to more customer referrals
oKeeping abreast of the market scenario and developments – SWOT analysis helping to improvise and be aligned to company’s vision and mission

·Responsible for the development of the corporate communications material. – Communication of Company Brand Image

Pinki, I am also working on something like this. I am not experienced, but I thought I could suggest. I am working on a Finance position to find out these indicators... just breaking my head with that.

Not sure if it has been of some help...but may be u can think and add something much better.

Hi, I guess you can add something in quantitative terms as well. For example, develop, plan, and implement the Marketing Strategies (urban & rural) to increase market share by, let's say, 10%.

You can be specific about the achievement of the targets. Talk to your management; they can provide you with the figures for the same.
