Dear Members,

Can you please explain the HR policy regarding providing company cars to employees in the IT industry? The employees will be given a company car, and after 4-5 years, they will have the option of buying it at a depreciated value, say 20%.

Are other software companies following this policy? What is the experience? Does it help in reducing attrition? What are the criteria for selecting employees for this scheme? Please give your feedback.

Hi,

I might be a little late in replying to your query. I was working with India's biggest retail company, where I used to handle this specific task. I hope this information can be useful to you.

Shweta
