Hi,
What exactly do you want to know. See it begins with sourcing of CVs. This can happen through various job sites or referrals or even through consultants. Typically every CV is thoroughly scanned by the Recruitment Manager keeping in mind if the candidate fits the jobs in terms of experience, qualification and also his/her work experience in a similar field. If yes, then the candidate is contacted to appear for a test or online testing. This again depends on the years of experience.
Then the process begins and the candidate would have to go through rounds of interview at various levels(usually 3 levels). If selected then the offer is released.
If you need any more information, please write in to me at

Hi Varshika,
Good to listen that you have chosen Recruitment Process as your topic for Summer Internship. This is the best area to work on in the present day situation. I would like to give a small advise.... when ever you are doing research or project and you are in need of information from the market then please get into specifics. Please jot down 5- 10 points that you want to study make a questionnaire and circulate in the group .. i guess then you can have a success in finding the right information.
Therefore paleae follow thais process:
1) do a basic research on recruitments. this would help you in understanding the basic components Recruitment process. some rersearch on this portal can help you mine useful information.
2) understanding the needs of the organization you are doing a projest for. this is very critical for any project ..if you didn't understand the pain points/ bottlenecks in the present process then you would never be able to gie a acceptable solution.
3) Write down the "Problem Statement". once you have clearly understood the problem area then finding the solution for it is not going to be a big concern.
4) Create questionnaire and circulate it in the forum. depending on the responses make your recommendations to the company.
Hope this helps.
