Hello,

I am currently on a summer project with IBM where I am required to study the attrition trends and devise retention strategies. I have to benchmark IBM trends with Accenture, Wipro, and Infosys and come out with a structured list of strategies. Can someone please help me with the data? Time is running out and I'm frustrated.

Thanks,
Manit

To understand the reasons behind attrition, conduct a thorough study. Subsequently, identify strategies for retaining employees. Determine what primarily motivates employees - whether it is money, a sense of belonging, or a competitive environment.

One potential reason for attrition could be when an individual finds themselves in a role that is not a good fit for them. This can lead to considering a job change within the same organization.

Effective communication between HR and employees is crucial. HR should engage with employees through activities or programs to stay connected.

Hi Manit,

I am also doing a summer project on attrition in INDIABULLs. My plans are:
- First, I will analyze the data based on regions and age of employees to determine the attrition rate in each sphere.
- Then, to collect reasons behind attrition, I will set up an EXIT interview Process.
- Followed by recommendations and retention policies that can be applied in the organization.

Could you also share how you are going about it? It will be greatly helpful to me.

Hi,

I am also doing my MBA, and now I am doing my summer internship in a big software company. I have been asked to do a project on attrition rate. They have not allowed me to administer any questionnaires with the present employees; I have to work only with the exit interview files. Can someone please help me with how to proceed? If possible, please email me a sample report at nive_electric@yahoo.com. Waiting for the reply.

Please, this is very urgent.
