A small Zen story for our thought...
One evening as a Zen master was meditating in his temple, a thief brandishing a sharp knife entered, demanding either money or his life.
The Zen master told him: "Do not disturb my meditation. You can find the money in that drawer." Then he resumed his meditation.
The thief was surprised at the boldness of the master, but hurriedly grabbed the money from the drawer and headed for the door. Suddenly, the master called out, "Don't take it all. I need some to buy my food tomorrow."
The thief became deathly afraid at the fearlessness of the master, so he put some of the money back in the drawer and again headed for the door. The master then called out to him again, "Thank a person when you receive a gift." The thief thanked him and made off.
A few days afterwards the thief was caught by the police and confessed, among others, the robbery against the master in his temple. When the master was called as a witness he said: "This man is no thief, at least as far as I am concerned. I gave him money and he thanked me for it."
After he had finished his prison term, the man went back to the master and became his disciple.
Moral: Simple politeness and gratitude can get you far more in life than terrorism and force can.

Good story... but does it always happen. u can remain what your are according to your values and habits but this would seldom change the world or the people around you. i really donot know... may be i am wrong. BUT a very nice story. :roll:
