My boss is competing with me. He is taking over all of my key responsibility areas (KRAs) that I have been managing for a long time. He has shifted all the analyses and reports that I used to prepare for management into his own KRA.
I am upset. Please help me. What should I do?

Don't lose heart. Office politics are very common. It's the other way round in my case, but my boss is acknowledged all the time. Chill. Could you tell me about your hierarchy at your office? Whom are you reporting to? What is your designation? How many people are in your department? What roles and responsibilities have you been assigned (generally mentioned in the appointment letter)?

I am totally agreeable to Hassan, and as he said, welcome to the organizational world.
Management always knows what it is doing within the enterprise. If not rewarded now, you will be rewarded in the future, maybe in different forms than you are expecting.
But stay cool and enjoy the journey, as the end is just as enjoyable. Love what you are doing and focus on it. Please do not focus on negative issues as this only brings demotivation.
I would like to share something with you. Yesterday, I was in a hotel and I met one of my friends who asked me to join his table. Since I was waiting for another person, I took this opportunity to have a drink with him. He was discussing with other influential directors in his organization, and suddenly a phrase like this came out from another director: "I am aware that he is making much noise about work that he did not do, but I am not interested in his job. I have decided to meet his assistant on Monday." They were referring to another person and to his assistant.
You see, now the assistant will have a kind of informal interview, and if he makes a good impression, then the sky will be his limit.
So, be positive. I know it is difficult, but if this can help you, know that we all get into these kinds of situations practically every day.
So, welcome to the organizational world.

I understand you. He just wants to learn from you. Sharing knowledge with others is a good thing, so there is no need to be afraid. Tell him in a simple way how you did the work. During appraisal, utilize your skills and explain to them. Alternatively, you can politely explain to him that the work you have done is a result of your effort. With a friendly approach, you can communicate effectively. He will listen.
