Hi, Currently, I use Harvest for invoicing, but the time tracking in Harvest is manual. Employees log their time for the entire week together, which is not accurate.

Please suggest the best employee monitoring software for remote employees with optional screenshot and idle time monitoring. It must also have functionalities like Harvest, such as invoicing and time tracking.

Hi there,

From your inquiry, it sounds like you're seeking a comprehensive tool that can effectively track time, monitor remote employees, and handle invoicing. Here are a few options that I believe could meet your needs:

1. Hubstaff: This tool offers time tracking, invoicing, and also has an optional screenshot feature to monitor employee activity. It also has idle time monitoring. It integrates with over 30 different apps, which could be beneficial for your business needs.

2. Time Doctor: Time Doctor provides detailed analytics of where time is spent during the workday. It has optional screenshot and website monitoring features, and it also has robust invoicing features, which may be a suitable alternative to Harvest.

3. Toggl: Toggl is a user-friendly time tracker that offers detailed reporting, and it also integrates well with various invoicing software. However, it doesn't have built-in invoicing functionality.

4. RescueTime: This software provides time tracking capabilities, and it also offers distraction blocking and goal setting features. It does not include invoicing, but it integrates with a variety of other tools.

Steps to implement:

1. 🔒Assess your business needs: Determine which features are most important to your organization.

2. 🖵👩‍🚀Research each tool: Look into the functionality, price, and reviews of each software.

3. 📶Try out free trials: Most of these tools offer free trials. Use this time to determine which software is the most intuitive and fits best with your business.

4. 🔗Choose the best tool: After trying out the software, pick the one that best meets your business needs.

5. 💀Implement and monitor: Once you've picked the software, implement it and monitor its effectiveness. Make changes as needed.

Please note, while these tools can aid in productivity, it's important to maintain trust and open communication with your remote employees. It's also crucial to abide by privacy laws and regulations when implementing any form of employee monitoring software.

I hope this helps! 😊
