Hi, On what grounds PF was not deducted for 4 years ? Either you need to pay PF from his DOJ with arrears and penalty or present as a new employee and pay PF from current month.

Yes, it is possible to do so and in this case his PF DOJ will be the date, the employee want to start PF Deduction and it does not matter when the employee actually joined the employee.
