Gratuity and Hiring at 55: Is It Part of the Employee's CTC Package?


Sir, If I am appointing an employee at the his age attainment of 55 years then will gratuity be a component of his ctc. please clarify.

For claiming gratuity age is not a factor. If this employee completes five years of service, while leaving he should be paid gratuity.
