1. Based on your industry, skill category of the employee, and after determining Zone A or B, find out the minimum wages.
2. In West Bengal, there is a 5% House Rent Allowance (HRA) on Basic & DA to be paid as per the HRA Act.
3. Then deduct PF contribution, ESI contribution, and any Professional Tax (PTAX) applicable.
4. You will arrive at the NTH.
The organization must comply with minimum wages, PF, ESI, etc., when determining the NTH.
