Hi, One of our employee's salary is increased within 3 months period after he joined. We have given a commitment to him while joining time after completing the probation period, based on his performance salary will be xxxxx. As per the commitment, we have increased his pay and every month we are giving payslips.

But we haven't given any increment letter. Now the person is asking for a revised salary letter. Actually, in our organization, we will increment letters to our staff only annually.
Now can we give him the letter? What do I have to mention in the letter? Please suggest me.

Thank you.

Best regards,
Venky

Normally, no letters are issued regarding the annual increment accrual, but an order is issued for a special or additional increment. The pay slip suffices to prove the normal increment.
Now, in this case, it looks like a special increment and requires a proper order to be issued to the Finance Dept. to draw it. A copy thereof can be issued to the indiviudual concerned.
