Any bond or contract to bind is illegal in India.
If you are giving training to an employee, which holds some market value and is of decent worth, then we can request voluntary acceptance from the employee, asking management to sponsor it. As a form of compensation, the employee expresses willingness to stay long with conditions applied. A technology transfer involving Intellectual Property (IP) and Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) with a parent company can be initiated by an employee, and in this case, a relevant document can be used to bind the tenure.
It is important to make this process voluntary rather than mandatory. Additionally, it is recommended to include a first right of refusal clause in the exchange of communication.
