If the poster's tenure in the organization of one of his previous employers was confirmed with wrong particulars by that employer in the background check, he should bring it to the notice of the previous employer with the correct particulars available with him and request him to send the correct particulars to the MNC. The poster should also confirm that the particulars furnished by him are already correct ones with reference to the copies of documents available with him.

Connect with your previous employer and request him/her to re-verify your employment details that he/she has communicated to the current employer. If the error is from the previous employer, request them to communicate the same with your present employer through email.
