I got an offer from Tata Projects, and I am currently working in a renowned steel manufacturing company. Tata is offering me this job on corrival payroll. When I asked about Tata HR, he also told me that he is working on corrival payroll and it's a normal procedure for Tata Projects to hire employees through corrival. He also informed me that direct hiring in Tata Projects is closed. I am now unsure whether I should join or not as it's a third-party company.

Dear Rajesh,
In the new job, will you be put under a manpower contractor's role? Your post is not clear as first, you have written that "job in covarriol payroll." Later, twice you have used the word "corrival." Both words do not convey the exact situation.
Direct employment over contract employment is always better. In the case of the latter, the employer can remove the contract employee easily. Going further, while searching for a job in the future, getting a direct job may become difficult for you.
Thanks,

Yes, I have also not come across the terminology of "covarriol payroll" or "corrival payroll." However, I have heard of a staff company named Corrival Corporate Services Pvt. Ltd. which is situated in Hyderabad.

Thank you for your response. Yes, Corrival is Corrival Corporate Services Pvt Ltd. I contacted HR for more information, and he mentioned that Tata Projects have stopped hiring directly into their own payroll system; instead, they are only hiring mid-level employees through Corrival Corporate Services Pvt Ltd. Can anyone confirm if this information is accurate? Also, I am contemplating joining this consultancy on behalf of Tata Projects, as I am currently employed in a large manufacturing unit under the company's direct payroll. I would appreciate any guidance to help me make an informed decision.

If you join as Corrival Corporate Service P Ltd., you cannot be treated as a TATA Projects employee. Even if you resign from there after some time, you will not get a relieving letter from Tata Projects but from Corrival Corporate Services P Ltd. only.
So, it's better that you remain in your big manufacturing company, as you will have an identity as a direct employee of the company.

Advice of Mr. Nair is correct and to the point. You need to be sure who is going to be your employer. What is the vacancy and what is the job description, position, remuneration, etc.? How does it compare with your current job? Do you need a change, and if so, is it urgent? Many such pointed questions need to be answered by yourself before venturing for a job change.

Yes, I also received an offer from Corrival Corporate Services on behalf of Tata Projects.
They have given me two options: either a consultant position in the Tata Projects offer letter (only TDS will be deducted, no EPF facilities) or through Corrival Corporate Services payroll.
Could anyone please suggest whether being a consultant or going through a third-party payroll would be better? Both options have the same CTC.
