As advised by PF authorities, last three months (i.e., May, June, and July), we have deducted 10% EPF contribution from employees instead of 12%. Is there any further notification in this regard for the month of August deduction... please let me know.

So far no further notification has been issued. I don’t think anything is in the pipeline either. Let me update as and when such a thing emerges in due course.

Pl.remember, all establishments have to revert to 12% contribution as the reduced rate of 10% was made applicable/limited only for these 3 months as no further extension seems to be forthcoming.

Kindly suggest. We have 20 laborers working on a daily wage rate of 593/-. Four persons worked for 26 days in a month, and their gross amount is 15,418/-. We deducted PF on 15,000/-. The rest of the persons worked for, say, 22 days at 593/- per day, and their gross is Rs. 13,046/-. What should be the amount on which PF should be deducted?
