Dear All, I want an advice regarding the carrer change. Actually i want to switch my career from sales to HR. I have completed my MBA in HUMAN RESOURCES (major) & MARKETING (minor) and i have 3 years of working experience in sales. So should i think about it?
And if YES then suggest me few names of institutions who provide practical training in HR from employee entry to exit.
Every reply will be highly appreciated.

Dear Vijay,
Why do you wish to change from Sales to HR? After acquiring three years of experience in Sales, if you shift to HR then it will be putting a clock back by three years. Though you are an MBA in HR, you are carrying a clean HR slate. You will have to start writing ABC on it. Therefore, you may reconsider your decision.
Rather than coming to HR, why not to get into hardcore marketing? It is logical to upgrade from Sales to Marketing. Being a salesperson, you must have done a field job and who is a better person than you to get into marketing?
Thanks,

But Sir, in sales i am trying since last 3 month but I didn't get any job. Almost jobs in sales are either for IT sales or inside sale and one more point is almost every recognise firm isn't willing to hire a person who is working on third party payroll. And i have the knowledge of channel sales, FMCG sales GT, MT etc.

It is always better to fight with a weapon which is already in your hand. Why do you want to fight
with a weapon which is not in your hand or rather has to be acquired?
Better to grab an opportunity where you have some experience. Fresh MBA HRs will not be considered for regular employment in any company.
If you want to stick into HR field, first you have to identify some companies offering internship or
engage you as HR trainee, in which case, you have to forego the 3 years you have already spent to gain experience of work.
