Dear all,

One of my ex-colleagues asked me for guidance regarding the following scenario. My colleague joined a different company four months ago and requested a PF transfer from the previous employer. However, the employer could not approve it as he had kept his digital signature at the office. The approval is pending until the current Corona situation clears up. In the meantime, my colleague needs to withdraw a bulk amount, which includes his three years' contributions with his previous employer.

If he submits a withdrawal application through the UAN portal to his present employer, will he also receive a portion from his previous contributions?

If not, please advise on this matter as he is in a needy situation.

Thanks,
Muthu
