Hi all,

Recently, I changed my job and I didn't withdraw my PF. I transferred my PF from the old employer to the current employer. I transferred 12% EPF + 3.67% to the current employer, but the EPS amount of 8.33%, which is the employer's contribution, didn't transfer.

Please help me resolve this issue.

In most of the cases, I have seen the pension amount doesn't get transferred while the PF amounts get transferred. I do not know the exact reason for this, but considering the fact that this amount will remain in your account secured and can be withdrawn upon retirement (apart from exceptions).

Hi Naren,

Thank you for your reply. However, my point wasn't clear. I agree that it is secured and will remain in my account only, but what if I change companies up to five times before retirement? Will my pension amount be spread across five PF numbers?
