1)Just read it somewhere recently that now in case of submitting claim for EPF withdrawal you also need to attach a cancel cheque copy of the Bank account that is linked to EPF Account. Is it true ?
2)What all details are required to be submitted while submitting claim for EPF Withdrawal ?
3)Also In case of unemployment for more than 2 month, is 100% withdrawal possible from EPF ?

Hi,
Submission of cancelled cheque was there when claim is through physical form submission. Now that UAN portal has been successfully implemented, PF can be claimed fully or partially or transferred to new employer account through UAN portal itself. Only bank details authentication is required.. cancelled cheque leaf not required for UAN transaction.
If unemployed for 2 or more months 100% PF can be claimed including pension. However in case of total service period exceeded 10 years then Pension contribution cannot be claimed which will be paid as pension after 58 years.

Please provide a clear photo copy of Bank Passbook to EPF authorities. This shall serve the purpose, it should be ensured that your account no. IFSC Code number etc should be clearly seen in the photo copy. No need to attach cancelled copy of blank cheque.
