Compensation by employer - got hurt while playing football on sports day organised by the company


Hi, I have got hurt while playing football on sports day organised by the company. My knee needed to be operated does any sort of compensation be granted .

More important what has the company told so far after the injury?
That shows intent of company.
Are they silent or have come forward to discuss the matter?

The company is silent . I have the Insurance policy but getting injured to a point of operation morever this injury had a toll on my finance , leaves and stress . There has to be some responsibilty on employer part , sports day organised by company transportation been provided food , refereshment , sports equipment and awards.
