Hi,
Our is an America based Software company , In India we are operating through Chandigarh. & there is frequent Employee turnover. I want to reduce it. So, my question is what are the non- monetary benefits that we can offer our employees . so that they can feel a part of the company.
Thanks,

Hi Radha1512
Don't see your question, but from your thread, let me understand what will you ask about.
In my company, there are several key persons those we call as "think thank" of our organization.
Management has given these key persons with :
- Better benefit
- Better rewards
- Better position
- etc
Thanks,

Hi , My question is How would you retain your key employees ? & which are the HR practices you would come up with besides from the Salary raise.

Hi
Hardly, any employee changes over for money at key positions, except for his personal/family reasons.
No one changes for salary.
Still if this happens,it's only the Top Management to be blamed as it seems that somewhere,it is not FAIR first & then FIRM.
Out bursts of Key employees is also a big psycological problem & needs HR attention to address, but if Top Management is not Fair, HR persons will also change.
This is out of my own experience.I am not an HR person.
I wish you forward it to the Top if you agree & want to convey to them

Hi Radha G, If u can motivate ur employees u’ll get which was deserved by u. It had better to change the invironment and try to behave them just like a friend. regards yogesh

hi,
besides a good raise ,offer them extra benefits, say a short vacation for the family, a fortnightly bash, a monthly trip to a resorts at the outskirts, some useful gifts. i think it works.
but all said , develop good organizational culture, that would definitely help you in retaining them.

Hi, Employee retention is ably executed by the following measures:
Improved woking conditions
Promotions and vertical redeployments
Salary review
Transparent Performance Management System (implementation)
Effective Compensation and Benefits Scheme
Flatter Organogram which aids
Regular communication and feedback
Idea schemes e.g successful employee business plans via suggestion box to which incentives are tied which i introduced in the organisation to which i belong
Paid vacations for key employees
Bonuses
Recognition of effort via commendation letters etc
Hope this helps

Hi Radha
Don't confuse its nothing a human approach also a matter of loyality in between Key Personnel and Organisation, they are treated as key role player becz they understand the theme, mission, vision, target and all thru long time relation with organisation so the organisation on a vice versa effect. When each one is well known to each other. There should be openess in pay/perks/facilities may be at market rate or may be above the market rate.
The best practice is study them carefully from pshychology to need based enhancement which will surely help to retain them.
Giving additional benefits and compensation will also help like family care practice, any new allowance, new creative vacations etc,so many things depending on the criteria...
thnx

By implemention of best HR Practices in the organisation such as:
1. Congenial working enviornment
2. Better Performance reward
3. Better perks prevailing in the good companies
4. Concessional housing loan
5. Lucarative ESOP right from the joining.
