Can we claim EDLI benefit if employee death after retirement?


Dear Friends, please suggest can we claim EDLI benefit if employee death after retirement?

Dear Paddy, EDLI claim is admissible only when the deceased was in active service. EDLI benefit can not be claimed after retirement. Regards Rahul
