miscarriage itself defines the termination of pregnancy, so both are not available at any single time slot simultaneously.

Sir means 6 weeks of maternity leave granted on account of miscarriage is over and above 26 weeks. means if any women whose pregnancy has been terminated can avail 6 weeks leave and if she again conceives can she avail the 26 weeks maternity leave (Or the leave will be restricted to 20 weeks ?)

Dear Abhierna,
Leave for Miscarriage is not over and above 26 weeks. Miscarriage entitles one for a leave of 6 weeks along with maternity benefits immediately following the day of maternity.
And for the next pregnancy; she can avail 26 weeks of maternity leave for a maximum of 2 surviving children.

miscarriage is a separate set which is neither clubbed nor entitled in maternity benefit, common part is pregnancy only
so the miscarriage is to be treated as other medical leaves, up to the 2 children limit, and this does not effect the maternity benefit
but both can not be availed simultaneous way, viz if one lady claims that she got miscarriage in 11th week of maternity leave then it would be troublesome on the part of employer and employer both,
miscarriage occurs in primary weeks generally, and if one claims after grant of maternity leave, then it would get adhered to maternity only, not in miscarriage as maternity leave starts after 6 months of start of pregnancy
