Dear All,

There has been a change in the name and date of birth of the employee in the PF records and Aadhar Card. In order to correct the details, I have been informed that a copy of the school certificate duly attested is required. However, as she is an uneducated worker, obtaining the certificate from the school is not feasible. This situation applies to several other employees in the same category.

The employee in question has been with us for the past 3 years, and her contributions have been consistently paid. We had registered her name for PF based on the information provided by her, and Aadhar document submission was not mandatory at that time.

I have already submitted copies of the Voter Card, Aadhar Card, Ration Card, and Passbook. Despite this, the PF Office has not been convinced to make the necessary corrections in the records.

I kindly request your suggestions or guidance on this matter.

Thank you.

You first log in to https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.g...mberinterface/ after logging in, go to manage, then modify basic details as per Aadhar card. After correction, submit the same for KYC approval by the employer. Then ask the employer to approve the same and provide the following documents to the employer: Aadhar card copy and date of birth certificate (school certificate).

After approval by the employer, they will submit the same to the PF department, and the PF department will approve as per Aadhar.

Dear Lavkesh Singh,

Whatever you said regarding the process is correct. Mohan is inquiring about the individual being uneducated, lacking school certificates. So, what do we need to do to update the Date of Birth?

Thank you.
