Kindly help me to understand how big companies maintain payroll by disbursing salary on the last day of the month. I usually receive the final attendance report by the 1st day of the month, and then it takes at least two days to calculate and prepare all the necessary documents. Therefore, I typically disburse the salary by the 3rd or 4th day of the month.

If I choose a manual month, for example, from the 21st of July to the 20th of August 2018, then there could be issues with PF, ESIC, and TDS calculations.

Please close the attendance by the 25th of every month and take the provisional attendance from the 26th to the last day of the month. If they are absent or availing LOP Leave, then adjust in the next month's salary.

As you have prepared the paysheet for the month, you need not have any tension about the remittance of PF & ESI contributions.
