I am Helen, a student from the HR department, and I am interested in conducting research on employee voice behavior. Based on my experience, I have observed that employees may choose not to speak up or may speak out over dissatisfactory situations at work. Therefore, the variables in my framework to study are as follows:

IV = Ethical Leadership
DV = Employee voice behavior
Mediator = Ethical culture
Mediator = Psychological empowerment

I would appreciate your help in developing my framework and identifying any suitable variables for moderators and mediators that I should use. Your comments and feedback are highly appreciated.

Dear Helen,

Kindly state the aim and objectives of your study and whether the study is part of an academic degree. If it is the latter, then please tell us the level of the degree: Master's or doctoral.

Thank you for your reply. This research is a requirement for my master's degree program. The purpose of this research is to examine whether ethical leadership and psychological empowerment have an influence on employee voice behavior.

So, the focus of this research would be the public sector employees since there is an increased demand from the citizens for the public officers to deliver transparent and timely service. This issue has been raised many times by the citizens but leaders have never addressed these issues. So, in this case, what is the employee's role? I think the employee voice plays an important role in speaking up and making suggestions to the leaders to improve service delivery in the public sector. This connects to my moderating variable of work climate.

Hope I answered your question.
