Sir , one of my friend is working in government hospital as nurse, want to know whether her work profile is termed as labour or employee. Her maternity leave is cancelled stating she is labour and not employee. Her education is only 10th standard. She have no idea and even too do not have. Can you please let us know her work is of labour or employee

As per my knowledge, if she is enrolled and paid on the Rolls of the Hospital, she is entitled for all the benefits.
IF she is paid other than the Hospital Rolls/outsourced by the third party, she may not be entitled from the Hospital authorities.

Hi Sir,
Thanks for your prompt reply, she is on payroll of hospital..
And one more thing they are frequently saying Nurse job comes under labour not employee what does it mean.
I searched different definitions on Labour vs Employee but couldn't sort out solution.
